Vauxhall is back on the rally stage, combining British motorsport heritage with cutting-edge electric performance. The all-electric Mokka GSE Rally, driven by rising star Ioan Lloyd, will compete in the 2026 ADAC GSE Rally Cup – the world’s first all-electric, one-make European rally championship.

Vauxhall Makes Electrifying Return to Motorsport with Mokka GSE Rally

Vauxhall has announced a triumphant return to international motorsport, marking a bold step into the future of electric performance with a full works entry in the 2026 ADAC GSE Rally Cup – the world’s first all-electric, one-make European rally championship.

Leading the charge is the all-electric Mokka GSE Rally, a high-performance rally car derived from Vauxhall’s fastest EV, the Mokka GSE. Producing 282 horsepower and incorporating advanced battery technology and motorsport-grade safety systems, the rally variant is designed to meet the FIA’s new eRally5 regulations. This ensures that Vauxhall’s electrifying performance on the road translates seamlessly to the rally stage.

The brand’s comeback will be driven by 23-year-old British talent Ioan Lloyd, fresh from his 2024 Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup victory. Lloyd’s involvement underscores Vauxhall’s commitment to nurturing young British motorsport talent while pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle performance.

Competing in the ADAC GSE Rally Cup represents a strategic milestone for Vauxhall. By linking the high-octane excitement of rallying with its electric vehicle range, the brand reinforces both its motorsport heritage and its vision for sustainable performance.

Championship dates will be announced later this year, with further information coming to Vauxhall retail showrooms in early 2026. Fans and customers alike can look forward to an exhilarating season that fuses British rallying tradition with cutting-edge electric technology.
